The new policy by the Gillard government on carbon price has been unpopular since it was announced 15 months and recent polls suggest that nine out of ten voters want the parties to find a middle-ground for the policy solution. This shows another 4 percent drop to 33 percent in support for the carbon tax - the lowest since its announcement last year.
