Come November, the city of Perth will host the Deep Offshore Technology (DOT) International Oil and Gas Conference. The three day conference is expected to draw international oil and gas companies at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 27th of November to the 29th of the same month.
The DOT board is currently made up of representatives from oil and gas companies like TOTAL, Woodside Energy Ltd., Shell International, and BP Developments Australia just to name a few.
Bruce Steenson, the VP for Technical and Prelude of Shell Development Australia will host the International Oil and Gas Conference, which will include panel discussions and pre-conference workshops on November 26 led by The American Society of Mechanical Engineers - International Petroleum Technology Institute and the Society of Underwater Technology. The conference will also tackle the latest technological developments in the oil and gas industry, including the latest offshore drilling equipment and VSAT connectivity.

Individuals interested in becoming part of the Australian resource industry will also be able to participate in a career fair organized by the DOT.
APPEA’s National Environment Conference, an event every two years, is starting to get more interesting as people from all over is starting to increase. Last year was a start of a new age as it was held for the second year running.
